Labscape's Special Project for VA Hospital

Coming Soon! VA Maine Healthcare System - Togus

The Togus VA Hospital located in Augusta, Maine has been in operation since the fall of 1866. It represents the oldest functioning facility under the Department of Veterans Affairs. The site is surrounded by 500+ acres of natural woodlands home to some of Maine's wildlife. The Togus VAMC is a 67 bed facility including another 100 bed Nursing Home which is made up of 50 Skilled and Longer Stay beds and a 50 bed Dementia Unit.

Labscape will be providing a very unique fume hood for this healthcare facility. It all starts with a shop drawing to create this special design. The Radio-Isotope Fume Hood with Filter Box System (pictured below) contains a #304 stainless steel liner and counter top, alarm system with both audio and visual warnings.

Careful planning and design went into this distinct fume hood to meet the demand of today's modern healthcare laboratories.
